JASPAN SCHLESINGER LLP NAMES JOTHY NARENDRAN AS CO-MANAGING PARTNER
Garden City, NY – January 22, 2020 – Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, one of the region’s leading full-service law firms, announced that Jothy Narendran has been named Co-Managing Partner. The selection was made at the firm’s annual partners meeting and announced by Co-Managing Partner Steven Schlesinger. Narendran is a Partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group, where she represents institutional lenders in financing complex commercial transactions including acquisition and construction loans, equipment and lease financing, multi-lender/syndicated financing and the sale and purchase of notes.

Narendran joined Jaspan Schlesinger in 2010, with prior experience as a partner in the lending division of a large regional firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology, a Master of Business Education from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctor from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center of Touro College.
A resident of Syosset, Narendran also serves as President of the Board of Directors of Spectrum Designs Foundation, Ltd., a Port Washington-based not-for-profit corporation which provides employment and training in the apparel industry for adult and school-aged individuals with autism. She has volunteered with the Nassau County Bar Association’s pro bono clinic for seniors and mentoring program, as well as the Touro Alumni Association.
Narendran has received numerous recognitions and honors, including the Big Brothers Big Sisters Presidential Award, the Long Island Business News Diversity Award and Long Island Business News 50 Most Influential Women in Business.
