Joan M. Gibbons Quinn practices in the area of tax certiorari, handling matters involving real property valuation affecting commercial and residential property owners and municipalities. She also represents clients in condemnation and eminent domain proceedings.

Joan has served in numerous roles in the New York State Unified Court System, including court attorney in the Nassau County District Court and the law department of the Nassau County Supreme Court; principal law clerk to a justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term; and principal law clerk to a justice of the Nassau County Supreme Court who handled myriad types of civil cases, including tax certiorari matters. She began her legal career at the Legal Aid Society of the City of New York, representing clients in criminal matters.
