Brandon S. Ross represents institutional lenders in the financing of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. He is experienced in drafting loan documents at origination and modification and in performing title review, organizational due diligence, and review of commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements.
Through the firm’s representation of the Housing Trust Fund Corporation, Brandon provides legal services to the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery in its operation of the NY Rising Housing Recovery program, which facilitates recovery and rebuilding efforts in areas of New York state that have been impacted by Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene, and Tropical Storm Lee. This includes contract drafting and negotiations, title review, and final closing.
Prior to joining Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, Brandon was an associate at a Long Island law firm where he concentrated his practice in several phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing and lending transactions.
While at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Brandon served as managing editor of staff of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and vice president of the Hofstra Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
