MANAGING PARTNER STEVEN R. SCHLESINGER HONORED AT HOLOCAUST CENTER’S INAUGURAL GOLF OUTING

Jaspan Schlesinger Managing Partner, Steven R. Schlesinger was recently the honoree for the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center’s inaugural golf outing held which was held at the Pine Hollow Country Club in East Norwich, New York.

The golfers took to the links helping to make it possible for the Holocaust Center to continue its work of promoting tolerance and compassion for all people through its Holocaust and Tolerance Workshops which were provided free of charge to more than 35,000 adults and middle and high school students during the past year.  The Center is in the process of completing its $2.5 renovation which will provide interactive Holocaust exhibits and a newly refurbished and restocked library complete with computer access to Holocaust databases around the world.  The success of events such as the golf outing is critical to the Center’s ability to offer these programs and facilities.

Steve Schlesinger is managing partner of Jaspan Schlesinger LLP and is in charge of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.  He has acted as special counsel to numerous government agencies and served as a director of two publicly held corporations.  Schlesinger serves as law chairman of the Nassau County Democratic Committee and is a member of the Character and Fitness Committee.  He previously was chairman of the Professional Ethics Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.  Schlesinger currently serves as president of his synagogue and as head of the Kermit Gitenstein Foundation, LLC.
