Jessica M. Baquet is an associate in the Firm's Trusts and Estates Practice Group. In 2005, Ms. Baquet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, where she was the recipient of the College of Arts and Science Scholarship and the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Ms. Baquet attended St. John’s University School of Law on an academic scholarship and received her Juris Doctor in 2008. While at St. John’s, she was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary, a Member of the Senior Bar of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Master of the Exchequer for the Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity. Ms. Baquet was also a finalist in the 2006 Reverend Joseph T. Tinnelly Moot Court Competition, the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, and an intern to the Honorable Thomas P. Phelan of the New York State Supreme Court. Ms. Baquet’s note, Aiding Avarice: The Inequitable Results of Limited Grounds for Spousal Disqualification Under EPTL ß 5-1.2, was published in the Fall 2008 edition of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. Ms. Baquet is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York.
She is also a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations.
