Jothy Narendran

Jothy Narendran is a partner in the Firm's Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. She represents institutional lenders in financing commercial properties in a wide variety of transactions including acquisition loans, construction loans, note purchases and sales, equipment financing, leasehold financing and multi-lender participation/syndicated financing.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Narendran was a partner at a prominent law firm on Long Island where she was a partner in the lending division.
Ms. Narendran is a board member of the Board of Review for the New York State Board of Review of the Building Code for the Southern Region. She is also an adjunct professor at Touro Law College.
She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 1987, a Master of Business Education from Hofstra University in 1992, and a Juris Doctor from The Jacob D. Fuschberg Law Center of Touro College in 1996. She is now involved in the Touro Alumni Association through which she has been able to assist those young adults who are currently in law school and was Alumni of the Month in September 2008 and also received Touro’s Public Service Attorney of the Year Award in April 2009.
Ms. Narendran is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association where she serves on the Real Property Law Committee and in addition, she volunteers her time to the mentoring program and the pro bono clinic for seniors. She is also a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations.
She has been an active supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island for the past 10 years and was the recipient of its Presidential Award at their 2007 Presidential Gala. She attends and contributes to the annual Art Auction, Day at the Races, Holiday for Kids Sake and volunteered for the Play it Safe program that has educated youngsters on how to be safe in as well as outside of their homes.
