Robert V. Guido is Of Counsel to the Firm’s Real Estate and Banking and Financial Services practice groups. His concentration consists of real estate, including development and construction, and banking and financial transactions.
Mr. Guido has been involved in major projects in the metropolitan area including a proposed redevelopment of the Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum site and the development of the 1,100,000 square foot RXR Plaza complex. His experience encompasses long-term ground, office and shopping center leasing, as well as representation of developers and municipalities in connection with development projects, subdivision and site plan approvals, inter-municipal agreements, construction management and architect agreements.
Mr. Guido represents both borrowers and lenders in connection with the financing of office buildings, shopping centers and mixed use projects. As such, he has handled construction and securitized loan transactions, forbearance agreements and mezzanine loan structures.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Guido was a senior real estate counsel for a major Long Island-based developer and before that a senior real estate partner at another major Long Island law firm.
He is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations.
