Leslie Feifer is a partner with Jaspan Schlesinger LLP in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice in all phases of commercial and residential real estate. She represents institutional and private lenders in mortgage transactions, purchasers and sellers in connection with sales and acquisitions of real property, including retail, office, warehouse, industrial and multi-family properties; owners in connection with sophisticated real estate refinancing transactions; and landlords and tenants in connection with commercial leasing matters. Ms. Feifer has acted as a Receiver and as counsel to the Receivers of multiple commercial properties.
Ms. Feifer received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1994 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics and Housing from Cornell University College of Human Ecology in 1989. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and in the State of New Jersey. She is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations.
In 2010 Ms. Feifer was recognized in Long Island Business News' "Who's Who in Commercial & Residential Real Estate Law." In 2011 Ms. Feifer received the National Association of Women Business Owners Long Island Chapter’s Businesswomen of Excellence Award.
Ms. Feifer is also active in numerous professional, business and charitable organizations. She is a member of Business Networking International – Dynamic Business Alliance Chapter, the Long Island Alumni Chapter of Tri-Delta, the Cornell University Alumni Ambassador Association Network and the Cornell Club of Long Island.
